About Island Pilates

We teach Pilates as a whole body/mind conditioning system.

We are educational Pilates teachers, and our teaching is based on clinical knowledge. We teach you how to feel the movement, rather than “do” the movement. We teach you how to pay attention to how your body feels. This helps your brain and your body connect, it is empowering and joyful, and as a result, Pilates FEELS great!

At Island Pilates, it’s not about ‘image’ or looking good, but ‘feeling’ good.

A session with Island Pilates is something to enjoy and look forward to, as opposed to the gym-based workout mentality of ‘punishing your body’.
